Kimberly Shaver

Kimberly joins us from The University of North Caroline at Greensboro. While in Greensboro, Kimberly completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in fitness leadership. Upon completion of her degree, she went on to become an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer. For the last 5 years she has worked to develop her skill set to specialize in special populations (Parkinson’s Disease, MS, artificial limp and joint replacements). Her primary focus is helping individuals establish good form and technique no matter their circumstances, while accomplishing functional yet progressive exercise routines.  Kimberly also holds her Silver Sneaker training certification in Classic, Boom, Yoga, Hip limitations, and Stress management

My name is Lacy Spence

Hi, I’m Lacy. I was born and raised in Danville. In my mid-twenties I gained a lot of weight and it not only affected my physical health, but my mental health as well. I struggled with depression, anxiety, and fluctuating weight for a few years before finally deciding to take control of my health. I have since lost over 90lb and have never felt stronger or healthier. Focusing on improving my physical and mental health was the best thing I have ever done.

My passion now is to help others who are looking to improve their health, weight, and quality of life. I am a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, and the owner of Momentum Plus Nutrition and Fitness Coaching.
